My Role At Dot Marketing
I’m Jaclyn, an Account Manager at Dot Marketing. I’ve spent over 18 years in the business world, with a strong foundation in sales. For 7 of those years, I dove into marketing and advertising—my true passion. I have deep local roots, having grown up on a dairy farm north of New Underwood, South Dakota. Though I no longer live there, the farm remains a cherished place where I find peace and quiet.
For college, I attended Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska. Initially, I thought I’d become an elementary school teacher, but I soon realized business was my calling. I studied Business Administration, focusing on Management Information Systems (think computers in business) and Marketing. I worked hard and stayed at Chadron State to earn my Master’s degree in Business Administration.
Being a mom to my incredible son is the heart of my life. He’s smart, fun, and exceptionally talented in everything he sets his mind to—especially lacrosse and football. Supporting him in all his endeavors brings me so much joy.
I love the outdoors, but only when it’s warm! Spring and summer are my seasons. You’ll often find me fishing, cheering at various sports events, or attempting to play golf (I’ll admit, I’m not great at it!). I also take pride in tending my beautiful flower garden, especially when it’s in full bloom.
With my son graduating high school and heading off to play college lacrosse this fall, I’m embarking on a new chapter. I’m thrilled about traveling to watch his games and exploring new places. My journey—from farm life to my education and career—has shaped me into a well-rounded person, and I’m excited for what’s next with Dot Marketing.
